Agreement to Terms

Welcome to WiseWallet. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ashfaq Ahmed ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the WiseWallet mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using WiseWallet, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Description of Service

WiseWallet is a personal finance management application that provides:

• Budget tracking and management with custom budget cycles
• Financial cycle tracking for income and expenses
• Transaction recording and categorization
• Bill tracking and scheduled payment reminders
• AI-powered financial insights using Gemini AI
• AI Assistant for natural language financial management
• Transaction attachment storage (receipts, invoices)
• Account management and fund transfer tracking

WiseWallet offers both a free version and a premium "WiseWallet Pro" subscription with enhanced features:

• Unlimited chat conversations with AI assistant
• Unlimited document attachments in AI chat
• Unlimited image attachments in AI chat
• Advanced analytics drill down to make better decisions
• Priority support

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use WiseWallet, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use WiseWallet. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of financial data you enter into the Service
• Decisions made based on insights and information provided by the Service
• Maintaining the security of your device and account
• Backing up important financial data if desired
• Verifying that transactions and balances are correct
• Complying with applicable tax and financial regulations in your jurisdiction

Subscriptions and Payments

WiseWallet Pro Subscription

WiseWallet Pro is a premium subscription that unlocks advanced features. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

Subscription Plans and Pricing

WiseWallet Pro is available through in-app purchase with the following subscription options:

• Monthly Subscription: $6.99 USD per month (30 days)
• Annual Subscription: $69.99 USD per year (12 months)

Prices may vary by region and are subject to applicable taxes. Prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through:

• Apple App Store for iOS users (subject to Apple's Terms of Service)
• Google Play Store for Android users (subject to Google's Terms of Service)

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. We do not directly collect or store your payment information.

Auto-Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price you initially paid.

Managing and Canceling Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device settings:

• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → WiseWallet Pro
• Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → WiseWallet Pro

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until the subscription expires. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.

Free Trial (if applicable)

We may offer free trial periods for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription. You can cancel anytime during the trial period without being charged.

Refund Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law. Refund requests must be submitted through:

• iOS: Apple's refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com
• Android: Google Play's refund process within 48 hours of purchase

We do not control refund decisions made by Apple or Google. For exceptional circumstances, you may contact us at hello@wisewallet.app.

Changes to Pricing

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect existing subscribers until their next renewal period. We will notify you of price changes in advance, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.

Subscription Benefits

WiseWallet Pro subscribers receive:

• Unlimited chat conversations with AI assistant
• Unlimited document attachments in AI chat
• Unlimited image attachments in AI chat
• Advanced analytics drill down to make better decisions
• Priority support for technical issues and questions

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove Pro features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of significant changes to Pro benefits.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Violate the rights of others or harass other users
• Use the Service to collect information about other users

AI Features and Limitations

WiseWallet uses Gemini AI to provide financial insights and an AI Assistant. You acknowledge:

• AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only, not financial advice
• AI responses may not always be accurate or complete
• You should verify important information and consult professionals for financial decisions
• AI features depend on third-party services and may be temporarily unavailable
• We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Ashfaq Ahmed and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your financial data and content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your data solely to provide the Service.

Data and Privacy

Your use of WiseWallet is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be available at all times without interruption
• The Service will be free from errors or bugs
• Data transmission will be secure or error-free
• Third-party services (Firebase, Gemini AI) will be continuously available

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
• Warranties that the Service will meet your requirements
• Warranties regarding data security or privacy

WiseWallet is a budgeting tool, not a financial advisor. We do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Consult qualified professionals for such matters.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASHFAQ AHMED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Financial losses resulting from use of the Service
• Decisions made based on information provided by the Service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Service interruptions or errors
• Actions or inactions of third-party services (Firebase, Gemini AI)

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months. For free users, this amount is $0. For WiseWallet Pro subscribers, this is limited to the subscription fees you paid during that period.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ashfaq Ahmed from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you upload or submit to the Service

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity
• At our sole discretion

You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature in the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Sending a notification through the app (for significant changes)
• Posting a notice on our website

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the worldwide operation of the Service, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where Ashfaq Ahmed resides.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ashfaq Ahmed regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
